Passed the Poop Test  − 18 April, 2008

After my story about being stoic about my stool issues, I must report that I passed the poop test.  A poop test is like a blood test, except that you have to take the sample yourself.  I won't make everyone pass out by going into the details, but I got a letter from the doctor saying everything came back normal.  She's going to have to refer me to a gastroenterologist to see what's going on.  But the good news is I don't have a parasite. I just hope there's no bad news.

I'm glad you pointed out that you take obtain the "sample" yourself. Going to have nightmares now of a doctor coming at me with a speculum and a swab shouting, "bend over, boy!" Hope everything comes out ok! (Yeah, it had to be said...)
