Setting the Stage − 16 August, 2007
I'm about to tell a story. I don't know how it will end, yet. But today, I'm setting the stage.
School began on August 20th this year --- my birthday. Now, I've talked a bit about how my first week of class went. But you haven't seen my room.
Below is a photo I took during pre-planning, August 16th. I teach in a brand new school building.
Look at this picture and remember that pristine view. Because this is Mr. McCosar we're talking about here, not the musician, but the teacher. I do a lot of hands on projects.
This room is about to look . . .
. . . well, messy!
So the stage is clear at present. No actors, no dialogue; the play has yet to begin. Fasten your seatbelts, because we're about to go on a roller coaster ride.
Literally.
I'll link in later sections of the story from this point. We start with a blast from the past, then continue with some jigsaws.

And then, certain doom. :D I have plenty of evidence for the second law of thermodynamics on hand today!
