She finished eating a bowl of chili while watching television and tapped her fingernails against the bowl to the tune of every commercial ditty.. Finding the beat quickly every time it changed. There are two sunflowers in a jug on the dresser. Deep yellow. a glimpse of sunlight in a shadowy room otherwise filled only with waiting.
