entered in to a second marriage for the wrong reasons. He got a job on the east coast and I was deathly afraid of leaving the only place i'd ever known with a man i was just "dating" even though we had lived together for 3 years. I had pressured him in the past to marry me and he reluctantly agreed after I gave him an ultimatum. we were married at the court house with 4 witnesses. He didn't even tell his family.
I really thought this was it.

I can't believe he didn't tell his family! We only had ten people from my side of the family show up for our wedding, while we planned for at least fifty people. His parents still refuse to acknowledge I actually exist. A white girl enters the family tree and suddenly the whole tree goes up in flames! For heaven's sake, we've never even lived less than 5 hours away from them, but we have forever been the sole root of all of their problems.

I've had race issues like that witha past boyfriend's family... You must be a strong woman to put up with it.. I know i couldnt.
