The Social (Orlando, Florida) − 2 June, 2005
One of our few out-of-town shows was at The Social in Orlando, Florida. That night, we played with two incredible bands -- Mercy and redboy.
But man, was it hard. My wife was still away in Cambodia. There was no one to share the good times with.
Between this show and the next one I'll write about, Hannah made it back, gravely ill. That story is for another day; I don't really have the strength tonight to write about it. You lucky people whose memories turn grey with time, whose sharp pains go to dull aches on recall, and broken limbs to mere twinges on the verge of sleep. Even years later, I have a hard time going back here.
