I don’t know if it’s possible, but when looking photos, we have to come back to the story to look at others picture. Is-it possible to have a back-next button to see them?

I have two cats from the same family, a male and a female. They look different and they are!
They represent what I am, two different personalities. One wants to give affection and the other part want freedom and be alone.
The male is called Emile (like my grandfather) is affective and sometimes too much.
The female is called Bertha (like la grosse Bertha, she is like the German canon)
They are a protection against the devil and the night vampires.
In the bed I have one each side, they are both on the second computer's chair and when I look a movie Emile is on me and Bertha near my neck on the sofa.
They are a part of my life now.

My new computer

I built a new computer to have much more power in Photoshop and others photo application, it runs perfectly but with the regular cooler, the processor is too hot (near 85 Celsius just in the BIOS).
And as the Drive was a little small I decided to do some upgrades. Another order to my favourite shop in Vancouver ( new Seagate Barracuda 640GB, Seagate FreeAgent 500GB External Hard Drive, CNPS9500A Zalman cooler, Artic silver compound and cleaner).
I tried this morning the cooler. Of course I had to remove the motherboard (so the all computer) take off the old cooler and clean everything).
Before the temperature was 84 Celsius and with the Zalman 62 !
22 celcuis degrees less and half the noise. Really nice!
Now it’s Zalman for all coolers!
Now I have just to reinstall all the applications and backups.
I have to put all my photos, scan some olds ones and give name etc... a winter job...
Later I have to replace my old monitors with panoramic 24” monitors.
Motorcycle, computer and photo! It’s a lot of money for a lonely pour guy... Next year I going to do a lot of beautiful photos and will open a commercial internet shop....

Friday I had some arguments with my supervisor. When my special colleague is not working, we have of course to replace him until six. The problem is I’m working 8 to 4 (the others 8H30 to 4h30). So, I have two hours in overtime, but my supervisor considers that the time I can recover is since 4h30. He doesn’t want to consider my objection and it’s not the first time. If he gives you something be sure you have to pay for it!
I said him, ok I’ll take what you give and shut off.
I think he is frustrated of the situation and doesn’t like all the noise. He lives like in a church!
Next time I will leave the office at 4 and come back at 4h30...

Office war

It’s now official there is a war in the office. Ok, in a corner, the big bad and in the other the victim. There is a protection given by the union but what do I have to win if they need to ask me some commentaries.
It’s only the beginning, of course one is too friendly with customers, speaks too much, do not help or whatever but he is sick. But what could I say to help the stability of the office. If I remember and remember and remember!
All these people (including me) are not so clean... So!
I’d like to be near the ocean and eat the lovely food of this woman in that restaurant. And what about her Belgium chocolates!

I arrived home yesterday evening and I took today for preparing me to work. Three days of camping with sunny time, a night of light rain, a day and a half of really heavy wind but a wonderful travel near the ocean and some anecdotes to write.

Yesterday evening was my club day and I feel like a stranger in that club. We watched photos made last travel in Québec city. That was interesting to see some points of few and most photos were like all others travel photos. Each one can put 4 pictures in a contest for a month and next step I to give it a note and some interesting comments about the others that is the most interesting part of the club.

Next weekend we have a photo rally in the old town, 5o we have to answer 50 questions and make 50 photo answers. Generally it’s a place or a building, a house or no idea! Probably it will help me to be more “sociable”.

I’m trying to find all my stock for the camp and I have to go downtown to pick up a book for the evenings (no computer or movie or ...)

I’m leaving tomorrow early tomorrow morning and will come back Sunday or Monday if it sunny. Just give a call to my boss Sunday to say:

Hello vacations are so good that I take one day more...

I have to be in Montreal for Monday evening for my second course...

O God a few days of peace and sun and nature....

Work without work to do

We have some problems with our software at work since a week and there is less than an hour job to do in a work day.

So, all I have to do, is surfing to read about photo knowledge or listen (not really) one of colleagues. He speaks too much and he gives me headache. But, nothing is harder than no work to do!

It can be worse of course...

In my life, there is motorcycle, photos and computers. I have a new one now. It’s a dual 3.73 GHz extreme edition. It’s really fast. That’s fun to use Lightroom or Photoshop! But I have to buy some others parts like one or two bigger drives...

Yesterday was my first course in photography given by one of the tenth best Montreal’s photograph!

And this guy is one of our colleagues from the photo club.

I have to work hard to have technical best photos! People around me has crazy professional camera. How people can buy near 5 or 6 thousand dollars for just a camera with a lens...

One of these guys has a $700 tripod! I paid $250 for mine and it’s enough strong for life.

I’m going to take a few days to go camping with my new tent near Tadoussac. I already saw that land last year but it is so beautiful and there are a lot of whales...

So a lot of photos to do... and some to share....

They stole my street!

Ok first, I did not drink anything, did not smoke or got anything.

I left my work at 4PM and drove home with my motorcycle as usual.

A car is in front my garage so I can’t go inside but I need to drive an hour later so I leave my bike on the over side of the street between two cars, lock it and go home. It’s just in front of my kitchen window.

There are a lot of cars in the street. I go inside the house and can see my motorcycle from the window. As I am hungry, I eat some beef with potatoes and vegetables I made yesterday. Just, I was taking my espresso, I look through the window and do not see the motorcycle and there are no more cars.

II can still see the road and the building but it’s an empty street for 50 feet. I look through another window and same result.

Ok. I think, Shit! They stole my bike f...!

Perhaps I left the key in it! (But I usually take care and put the lock every time). I look on the wall and the keys are there. So they stole my bike!

I have it since 3 years but I have put a lot of accessories and I’ going to loose A few thousand dollars, but it’s just money, plastic and metal!

I look through the window just in case my bike comes back! (Who knows), still nothing of course!

So, I take my cellular phone and go outside to call the police (It’s always faster with a portable phone, I do not know why!).

As I turn the corner, the first thing I see is.... some cars and... My motorcycle between the same two cars and of course just in front of my kitchen windows!

I look at the bike and the lock is still on!

I’m not crazy, so I go inside the house and look through the windows and I can see the motorcycle between the two cars.

Another strange thing!

So, if in a few days, my motorcycle is going to be steal, it will not be a big surprise...

I found a course (intermediate level) in photography with labs control. It’s given by a professional photograph who has some respectable C.V.

So every Monday night, I will be there! Wednesday night with the photo club!

I’m going to have some social training until next summer...

I want to make better photos and I think it’s the best way to do it!

It took several years to really identify this person for various reasons, and now I know what to do, I will have to adjust myself. One is basically whom I had known, the other is a time bomb and distrust remains in place because the accumulated anger becomes increasingly evident. One becomes increasingly predictable and irrational, the other is trying not to get involved and remains on the sidelines. Of course, I did not lose my place and my reputation is more to be done and I spoke too for things, or other situations where I have no interest …
Nice society! The world in all its glory!

About this week!

This week a colleague was missing and one was too much.
I took a day off to see a doctor and an afternoon to go shopping. I went to my first meeting with my photo club last Wednesday.
First impression: What am I doing here?
After 10 minutes: There are only old people today! (In fact people are between 50 and 65) but I’m an older now (56).
After 30 minutes: There is some photo professionals in this room.
A lot of people know each other, so I have to work hard to do some social! And it’s not my best way!
I think it will be interesting and I should learn a lot with these guys. And we have access to a professional studio with all accessories every Saturday morning and it cost only $20 per hour. It can be interesting it some friends want some nice photos.
I continue spend too much money, I bought a new tent in whitch I can stand up (it’s a four persons tent for one guy. I can put my motorcycle inside with all my stock...).
I bought a new nice tripod and some camera accessories. I need now a few pay checks to clear the next bill. But, who care! It’s only money...
But I happy to do something I like.
Motorcycle, camping and photos are now my life. Working is just for helping me to do it!

Some specialists are so stupid!

I have some troubles with my right eye since a couple of months and I had seen my optometric who gave me an address for a specialist diagnostic.

Most of them were closed for summer and I had to wait until today. This afternoon I saw the “specialist”.

Not to much waiting, a “nurse” made just a view test. And I saw the “man”. Near 60, nice guy but something saying he was there to make big money!

Last patient was in his room less than 10 minutes and he took less than that with me!

He said you have nothing and I insisted he send me to a peripheral view test with one of his assistant more professional than him.

Result is good; I have normal eyes except of course I have to renew my optics for a better reading view.

So nothing but I still have this impression of something in the corner of my right eye. He said, I was wrong, it could not be, it was age effect etc...

Damned stupid guy!

I am going to see another one for sure, but a few more months to wait!

Life is good

Since a couple of month, my life is quiet. I asked for it and I do what I can to have it like that. Even my nights are easy. No dreams, no wake up, just sleeping.
Perhaps because my heart is in peace and I found something to do more than just be happy.
Yesterday I bought a new zoom for my camera. I tried it this afternoon. Not to bad!
So I made a few pictures more. I found a photo’s club and I’m going to be there every Wednesday nights and some weekends.
I have so many things to learn and I like have my brain working even if people don’t think so!
Now it is first of September and I can see Nature in move!

After work, going home on my motorcycle, I saw an accident. A car between two trucks! I was not too far (probably 100 feet) help was there in only three minutes (firemen). The guy inside was not so bad but needed help go get out the car.

Police officer took care about the way and I can move home again, but as I was not leather shielded today (too hot) I took the way easy going!

Five minutes later a woman in a red sport car goes near to put me down, I was really angry! She misses to have a minimum of three accidents. I show her at a red light and stop near her car, left my motorcycle and gave her a lot of shit.

She said: go to hells. I answer to take a stick and put it in her a... and was really bad looking. She put the accelerator high, goes on the red light and disappears.

I took my bike again, stop after the light, took a few minutes to relax and went home quiet. I took a glass of good wine and opened the Godiva chocolate box given by my female coworkers.

Take it cool man! It often happens, it’s Montréal and people never learned to drive here!
