Karaoke has been such an important part of my life and it is due time for me to return the favor.
The art of making a karaoke video is tough. You have to shoot countless scenic backdrops, have hair from an era gone by (the early 90's, late 80's) and dance like you don't know how to. My favorite Karaoke video style, although the most challenging, is the one I want to emulate; the symbolic, but actually not symbolic at all, literal reenactment of the lyrics.
This might seem like a daunting challenge, but I think you all can handle it. Just ask yourselves these key questions:
Are you a small town girl?
Are you living in a lonely world?
Do you want to pretend to take the midnight train, but actually be in broad daylight because I have sub-par low-light performance on my Canon HF100 camcorder and how many Karaoke videos take place at night?
If you answered yes or no to any of these questions, then you might be ready to be part of the greatest Karaoke video ever and a tribute to my one true love...
Don't stop believin'!

More seriously though, I started story boarding this and I will need a main guy and a girl. There are a few small parts and I'll try to include some group scenes. Otherwise you all can be my assistants!
We can also film some other stuff just for fun.
Let me know if you want to have a minor or major role in the video :P Auditions?
I'm planning on going to the Puyallup Fair to take advantage of this somewhat rare event in the Seattle area. It's mainly to practice on my photography in a carnival setting, but of course a ride on the ferris wheel or some cotton candy isn't out of the question either.
Come along if you want to hang out, eat hot dogs and cotton candy, and maybe win a few prizes along the way!
