Per John's suggestion/request for a more scenic photo/video event, we're heading out to Bainbridge Island to see what our neighbors are up to. They've got beaches and a small-town feel. Perfect for an early morning to afternoon photography/videography outing. Here's the proposed schedule for this day: 8:30AM__Breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe on Roosevelt Way in the U-District (http://www.portagebaycafe.com/Home.html) 10:00AM__Arrive at port to catch ferry -- Schedules for the ferry! http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/schedules/current/index.cfm?route=sea-bi -- 10:30/11:00AM__Arrive at Bainbridge Island to start our exploration (time is tentative because I'm not exactly sure what time the ferry leaves..) 12:00/13:00PM__Late lunch 16:00PM__Start heading back to Seattle 19:00PM__La Sag Na Night at Kevin's new pad Because the theme is "nautical," it would be fun if we can wear something of those colors? So blue, white, red, yellow, and stripes are all encouraged! For lunch, we can catch some food at the local venues, or maybe we can pack our own lunches and have a picnic on the beach? I'm all for the latter, but let me know what you guys want? I can provide the picnic sheets. =D |
